Humanitarian aid

On October 26, our team of the “Realis” center made a humanitarian trip to of the working town of Kovsharivka near Kup’iamsk. He was released just a month and a half ago.

Only now life is beginning to return there, but it will still never be the same as it was before the war. Another city, other people, even the air is different.

We took part in distributing food and hygiene products to residents of apartment buildings near the destroyed machine-building plant. And they witnessed a real humanitarian disaster. People have been living in buildings without electricity and gas for more than half a year. They have to fetch drinking water from a well and cook food directly on an open fire.

People are tired, exhausted, full of pain, but their eyes burn with goodness and faith in our victory. Residents of Kovsharivka had to experience many horrors during the occupation.

But it could not break them from the inside. It only added even more confidence in a bright future for our country. They have the strength to smile when it would seem that there are too few reasons for it.

We were present only at the beginning the process of distributing humanitarian aid in the town. However, local volunteers continued this work so that as many people as possible could receive help.

Our team is grateful to God that we are able to provide humanitarian support to people, and at the same time we hope that victory is ours. Ukrainians are an extremely strong nation!
